2.  WHEN COLLEGE COACHES MAY CALL YOU

 

While you can call college coaches at any time, there are restrictions as to when college coaches can call you. DIII coaches can call you anytime, although many follow DI rules.

​

Division I:   From June 15 after your sophomore year.

Division II:  From June 15 after your sophomore year.

Division III:  Anytime, unlimited

NAIA:   Anytime, unlimited

JUCO:  After you completed your junior year.

3.  OFFERS/COMMITMENTS

​

No DI or DII offers or commitments to/from student-athletes until June 15 after your sophomore year.

​

4.  OFFICIAL/UNOFFICIAL VISITS

​

An official visit to a college by you and your parents is a visit that is arranged and paid for by the college.

Division I:   Visits can occur starting August 1 before your junior year of high school.​

Division II:  Visits can occur starting August 1 before your junior year of high school.​

Division III:  Anytime.

NAIA:   Anytime.
