Recruiting Guidelines

1.  YOU CAN CALL COACHES AT YOUR EXPENSE

All Divisions: You can call coaches anytime at your expense.

2.  WHEN COLLEGE COACHES MAY CALL YOU

 

While you can call college coaches at any time, there are restrictions as to when college coaches can call you. DIII coaches can call you anytime, although many follow DI rules.

Division I:   From September 1 of your junior year, unlimited calls

Division II:  From June 15 after your sophomore year, unlimited calls

Division III:  Anytime, unlimited

NAIA:   Anytime, unlimited

3.  YOU MAY RECEIVE GENERAL INFORMATION

All Divisions:  Anytime, unlimited

4.  YOU MAY RECEIVE RECRUITING MATERIALS

You may receive any written information including personal emails and letters as follows:

 

Division I:   From September 1 of your junior year

Division II:  From June 15 after your sophomore year

Division III:  Anytime, unlimited

NAIA:   Anytime, unlimited

5.  YOU CAN TAKE  UNOFFICIAL VISITS

 

All Divisions: Anytime, Unlimited so long as paid by you.

6.  YOU CAN TAKE OFFICIAL VISITS

 

An official visit to a college by you and your parents is a visit that is arranged and paid for by the college.

Division I:   From opening day of class of your senior year, limited to 1 visit per college, up to 5 total.

Division II:  From June 15 after your sophomore year, limited to 1 visit per college, unlimited total.

Division III:  From January 1 of your junior year, limited to 1 per college, unlimited total.

NAIA:   Anytime, unlimited

7.  YOU CAN HAVE CONTACT WITH COACH OFF THEIR CAMPUS

 

Division I:   From July 1 after junior year

Division II:  From June 15 after sophomore year, unlimited

Division III:  After sophomore year, unlimited

NAIA:   Anytime, unlimited
